It's almost summer and who isn't looking forward to fresh, vine-ripe strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, zucchini, and loads of other antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies?
The quality of produce found at the corner supermarket pales in comparison to the bounty flowing over at the nearby farmers market. Locally grown food doesn't just taste better, but it's more nutritious. It's also good for your local economy to buy directly from your nearby family farms and better for the environment since it didn't travel halfway around the world to arrive on your dinner plate.
For those who aren't connected with where to find locally grown food, I strongly recommend that you check out LocalHarvest.org. It's a great site that will help you locate farmers' markets, family farms, and other sources of sustainably grown food in your area.
While LocalHarvest supports all small growers, it also promotes organic farming.

Fresh produces contain a lot of active vitamin(C and B), which are helpful for body's foundation, so I like it very much!
hi, you are right jacky fresh farm produces contain a lot of vitamins and talking about it I know of a drink which is doing the rounds of celebrity circles a lot these days called Purple. Moreober it's healthy for once and our children will atleast not be having anything unhealthy like they do looking at celebs. I tasted it and mixed it with smoothies and cocktails and guess what! it's amazing. . If you want more information to check whether what I am saying is right you can get it at www.drinkpurple.com , You can get it at GNC and drug stores. Please let me know if you tried it and liked it or not.
